Havensight Pier is a little further, with 4.2 miles separating the port from the airport, but this is still only about a 15-minute drive in St. Thomas traffic. Not only is it a relatively short drive, it’s a simple one, with the Waterfront Highway directly connecting the two. Do not be confused by the pier between the International Terminal and Punta Langosta. This pier is used exclusively by ferries transporting cars and trucks to Playa del Carmen. The pier for the passenger ferry to Playa del Carmen is located in the heart of San Miguel. In addition, the ship’s crew can also provide your boarding passes for your flight.
We recommend booking either at the airport or in advance online. The bus ride from Cancun to Playa del Carmen is about one hour. Boston’s Black Falcon terminal is located in South Boston Waterfront, 2 mi / 3 km away from Boston downtown.
